Basket Brawlers Fantasy Basketball Four-cast

Your personal fantasy basketball cheat sheetYour personal fantasy basketball cheat sheet

Fantasy playoffs are underway for some and should be starting Monday for everyone else. Check out the recommendations below from me (Dray) for this week’s solo edition of the Fantasy Four-cast!

1) FANTASY LINE OF THE WEEK
2) FANTASY SLEEPER PICKUP OF THE WEEK*
*LESS THAN 20% OWNED IN 12 TEAM LEAGUES ON ESPN
3) TOP SELL HIGH CANDIDATES
4) TOP DROP CANDIDATES OF THE WEEK

1) Fantasy Line of the Week

Dray’s Pick:
Kyrie Irving
31 Pts, 10 Reb, 12 Ast, 1 Blk, 1 Stl, 1 3PM, 11/28 Fg, 8/9 Ft
03/14/2019 vs SAC

Alright the percentages aren’t great but I feel like people have been sleeping on Uncle Drew this season. This man ventured out to make it “on his own” (still with a top 3 coach and great talent around him), and is keeping the Celtics relevant for Eastern Conference contention.

2) Fantasy Sleeper Pickup of the Week

Dray’s Pick:
Damyeon Dotson, New York Knicks
7.6% Owned
17.5 Pts, 5.0 Reb, 3.5 Ast, 1.3 Stl, 2.8 3PM over the last 7 days

The Knicks play four times next week, and Damyean Dotson is one of the reliable members of that squad who are putting up numbers right now. He’s cracked the top 100 in 9-cat over the past two weeks and is slightly trending up still. This guy could be the difference in a playoff matchup.

3) Top Sell High Candidate

Dray’s Pick:
Andrew Wiggins, Minnesota Timberwolves
If you’re league hasn’t reached a trade deadline, look to move guys on teams that are not in the playoff hunt and may be injury risks this season. To me, that’s Andrew Wiggins. He’s back from a recent injury, the Wolves are basically out of the playoffs, and someone who likes a big name may bite on a trade. Test the market and pull the trigger if there’s someone interesting to you.

4) Top Drop Candidate of the Week

Dray’s Pick:
Jeff Teague, Minnesota Timberwolves
Am I just ragging on the T-wolves today? Yes, but that’s because Teague fits into much of the same situation as Wiggy. Teague looked like he may have been able to return from a left foot injury, but now he’s been sent back to Minnesota for further evaluation. If you’re in a situation where you may be knocked out, Teague will likely be shut down pending this evaluation.

Good luck in playoffs fantasy fans!
